I have an apple sticker on my car. I'm thinking of getting license plates that say FF0000 since my car is bright freaking red. I'm aware that very few people will get this.
Ha..... that is classic.....

Consumers Union, as part of their efforts to publicize prescription drug issues, has come up with a silly Jib-Jab style animated movie named "The Drugs I Need!". You can find the page about it here (http://cu.convio.net/site/PageServer?pagename=Rx_song_download).
Because it follows their style, the Jib-Jab brothers, who don't care about the consumer activism involved (they stay neutral on the issues), are helping publicize it (http://www.jibjab.com/cu_landing.html), which is how I heard about it.
The Drugs I Need!:QuickTime movie, low bandwidth (http://anon.newmediamill.speedera.net/anon.newmediamill/animate2.mov) (2.2MB)
QuickTime movie, high bandwidth (http://anon.newmediamill.speedera.net/anon.newmediamill/animatebb2.mov) (8.5MB)
Music only, MP3 (http://anon.newmediamill.speedera.net/anon.newmediamill/animate.mp3) (2.6MB)
Enjoy!

How can I backup all of my jailbreak data such as apps, themes, etc.?
Download a package in Cydia called Pkgbackup. Read the instructions as detailed in the Cydia dialog page before you download. It will backup all of your Cydia apps, tweaks, and themes.
Btw, some of you people need to stop being so snarky and unhelpful in these forums. If someone who is clearly new to jailbreaking or don't know the ins and outs of doing so, this is what these forums are for. I've found so much great information from it - some by searching, and some by asking questions and getting answers. Please, keep these sarcastic and cynicism-driven comments to yourself and only comment if you would like to help the community.

Wow, I can't believe I didn't think of that, I'm a genius. The only thing is, Can I download the Windows version and burn the .exe onto a disk? I'm trying to set up an old windows PC in the garage and turn it into a jukebox.
Yup.
You shouldn't have any probs doing that.

What do you use your Mini for?
You might be better off waiting to see what Apple releases later this year.
not even later like soon probably they're due any time i think

A new Adium theme isn't exactly a new Mac app. Anyway, nothing can compete with the efficiency an style of the tl (http://www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=473) theme!

The current 8GB model does retain the 2nd gen hardware.
Using it with a headset/mic will work for Skype and other recording.
However, the 2G hardware doesn't support the VoiceOver (voice command) feature that the true 3G hardware does.

you will need to get an airport extreme, which has one WAN and three LAN ports, to do what you want.

You can try booting from a Linux live disk like ubuntu to see if you are able to get a working desktop. You can also use this to check the hard disk and memory.

I may be wrong but i thought that i heard or read somewhere that it is cheaper to upgrade from the next recent OS (ex. Leopard > Snow Leopard or Snow Leopard > Lion) rather than skipping one (ex. Leopard > Lion).
The cheap Leopard to Snow Leopard update is actually the first time this has been the case. We don't yet know if it is a new strategy from Apple or just a one time thing because Snow Leopard didn't sport that many new features.
My recommendation is "Wait and see".
Ask one of your friends if you can borrow their snow leopard disc. Otherwise, just wait until Lion this summer. I have the beta, and it's a pretty nice upgrade.
If the OP had intended to obtain it illegally I don't think the thread would've been posted at all. ;)

I put the screen to other iphone 3g and it works perfectly .
The weird thing is that on the old one it doesnt work only about 2 mm from left to right .
If that the case, the there is something wrong with the connector on the logic board or the board itself. Might be clean the connector first. If it not fix the problem, then try to restore it and see if it works.

If none of those options work for you, find a church or school that would take them. Many have access to low income families that could use a computer for simple word processing, email and web surfing.
Great idea!

Apple also makes storage solutions.
An important part of a SAN is the software.
That's okay. A category can have more than one parent.
